the first Fair Trade country

Llandudno Bay
We aspire to offer a professional and genuinely valued service to the residents of the locality.
Profile:
Llandudno Town Council is a large community council, consisting of a Mayor and 29 other active Councillors, and serving a population of over 20,000 people, which can swell to over 60,000 during the Summer months. Residents are spread across five ward areas: Craig-y-Don, Gogarth, Mostyn, Penrhyn & Tudno wards.
The Town Council plays a vital and active role in representing the local community and also organises, or involves itself, in many of the local events held in Llandudno every year (see below). It also aims to improve the local quality of life and deliver services to meet local needs.
In addition to the normal business that faces the Council, we organise many of the town's Civic Parades, the annual Miss Alice Competition, Wales in Bloom, Llandudno in Bloom, a Hanging Baskets scheme, Decorative Lighting projects, and Christmas Lighting. The Town Council also operates the North Western Gardens Public Conveniences, the Town's annual Christmas Parade and Town Twinning visits to Wormhout (our twin town in Northern France) each year.
