COMMUNITY SERVICES AND TOURISM COMMITTEE

This Committee meets approximately every 6 weeks, on a Tuesday at 7pm a the Council Chamber, Town Hall. Its remit includes:

To be responsible for the provision of Community facilities and services, including recreation areas and open space
To be responsible for the promotion of Tourism and Leisure
Maintenance of public seats, bins and similar street furniture
Street naming and numbering
Water and drainage
Public utilities
To be responsible for Community Events
Premises licensing
To receive reports from Community and Tourism Sub Committees
To receive reports from relevant outside bodies.
