Street Parties to Commemorate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee 2nd-5th June 2012
In anticipation of the local community holding street parties to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee from 2nd-5th June 2012, Llandudno Town Council has made available a sum for each of the five wards (Craig-y-Don, Gogarth, Mostyn, Penrhyn and Tudno) to help communities mark and celebrate this special occasion.

The closing date for applications is Friday 20th April 2012.
NB: Organisers should make their own enquries to Conwy County Borough Council, prior to makign an application to the Town Council, regarding necessary regulations and requirements of organising a community street party

Llandudno Town Council will once again be entering the town in the prestigious Royal Horticultural Society's Wales in Bloom competition, which is dedicated to making Wales a more beautiful place to live and visit. In the 2011 competition Llandudno achieved a Silver award and we are hoping to improve on that this year. To do that we need your support.
The "In Bloom" Committee is already planning this year's campaign and invites all community groups within Llandudno who are engaged in improving the environment through conservation projects, planting trees/flowers or tidying up your neighbourhood to get in touch. No matter how big or small your project we'd like to know about it to include in this year's campaign. We also need support from local businesses by way of sponsorship or you might be interested in taking part in our hanging basket scheme.
We are currently inviting orders from businesses for hanging baskets for 2012, which will be delivered to your doorstep, ready to hang, in late May and will create a blaze of colour for your premises. The following type of hanging basket is available this year:
16" Solid basket supplied fully planted .................. £16.44 (including £2.74 VAT)
The closing date for entries is Friday 9th March 2012
