Virgin Train Launch
On September 27th 2004, the first direct Llandudno to London Euston Virgin Train arrived at Llandudno Station to a rousing reception from the Town Band and a battery of fireworks ... Cllr Mrs IL Groom (Chairman of Conwy County Borough Council) and Cllr Mrs AE Parry (Deputy Mayor) and can be seen holding a plaque presented to the town by Virgin Trains to commemorate the event - Click the picture to read Noel Walley's report on the event.

Christmas Parade
The Illuminated Christmas Parade once again rolls into town on Saturday December 4th 2004 at 4pm. The Parade will make its way through the town centre and particpants will witness the grand switch on of the Town Hall Christmas Tree lights. Read more here ...
Mayor's Tsunami Disaster Appeal ...
The Mayor, Cllr Janet Finch-Saunders has launched a Tsunami Appeal Fund to which you can donate via the Town Hall in Llandudno. Simply call into reception whilst you are in town and fill an envelope with whatever money you can spare. Donations will be paid directly to the disaster appeal fund. Cheque donations can also be made payable to Llandudno Town Council. Many thanks for your generousity ...
The Mayor, Cllr Janet Finch-Saunders will welcome you to the Mayor's Charity Ball 2005 in aid of St.David's Hospice. The evening, to be hosted at The St George's Hotel, Llandudno on Friday March 4th 2005 at 7pm will feature a Cocktail Reception followed by a sumptuous five course dinner and dancing to popular local group "Orbit". All proceeds from the evening will be donated directly to St David's Hospice. Why not join us? Tickets are £35.00 per head and are available from the Town Clerk, or directly from St. David's Hospice.
