We are very pleased to announce that Llandudno acheived a Silver Gilt Award in 2007 in the prestigious Wales in Bloom Awards. Councillors attended a special award ceremony in Caerphilly to receive the accolade of category winner (town) on behalf of the Town Council. The party also picked up a silver award for the Town Hall building - second only to COlwyn Bay.

Llandudno also won a Silver Award in the 2008  Royal Horticulural Society Britain in Bloom. The Mayor paid tribute to the hard work of the Committee and to the tremendous effort put in by Conwy County Borough Council.

Llandudno is happily blessed with lots of picturesque natural scenery which nurture many varieties of planting, together with rich natural fauna.

To make the town centre come alive with a blaze of colour, Llandudno Town Council has coordinated the purchase of hundreds of hanging baskets for retailers and hoteliers which are carefully prepared for the customer and delivered to the door.
