Miss Alice 2005
Twenty five entrants appeared before five judges on Saturday May 14th 2005 to compete for the coveted title of Miss Alice 2005.
Every entrant was given the opportunity of telling the judges about their interests and had to answer carefully selected questions about Lewis Carroll's
Alice in Wonderland book.
A delighted Emily received a special Miss Alice sash from the then Mayor Cllr Mrs Janet Finch Saunders to commemorate the occasion, and will have her own special Alice themed dress for her official appearances
over the coming year.

Amelia Osbourne
White Rabbit 2005
Amelia was delighted to become this year's White Rabbit, although having also been entered into the Miss Alice competition.
Emily and Amelia will accompany the Mayor on many official duties, parades, and parties throughout the year and will help the Mayor during hospital visits.
All the entrants were presented with a goody bag to take away. The outgoing Miss Alice - Miss Philippa Bowen and White Rabbit -Miss Josie Hodrien were presented with specially prepared Alice in Wonderland books to commomorate their year in office.
