Take
a break at North Western Gardens
Currently, Llandudno Town Council
oversees the operation of just one set of public conveniences at North
Western Gardens in Llandudno (at the bottom of Mostyn Street). The
premises are managed under contract and overseen by the Town Council,
providing what we hope are fresh, clean and pleasant facilties for
all users.
The underground toilets are warden controlled by
our full time caretaker, Mr Gwilym Hughes who keeps the place in immaculate
order. We are constantly aware of cleaniliness and are improving the
facility currently.
Whilst in town, you will note that new ballustrade
work has been completed by Conwy County Borough Council and
has enhanced the appearance of the facility greatly. New ornamental
gates have been fitted to further enhance the aesthetics.
The
facility provides a disabled lift, disabled facilities, baby changing
facilities with hot & cold running water. The Council do impose
a small ticket change of 20p for all users to assist with the considerable
running costs of the installation - insist on your ticket on
entry!
The loos open just after 10am in the morning and shut
at 4pm in the afternoon and are now open all year round.
In
the unlikely event that you should find the loo closed bewteen these
hours, please note that cleaning work may be in progress at sporadic
times in the day.
