Fireworks Night 2007

"An incredible display - amazing fireworks in a stunning location -

all the better for the exceptional weather!"

Llandudno Town Council will again stage and organise the town's annual Fireworks Display. This year the event will be on Wednesday November 5th 2008, with the display starting at 7.30pm prompt and lasting almost half an hour.

Members of Llandudno Rotary Club will collect for charity, and towards the cost of staging the display, from the assembled crowd. Last year it was estimated that approximately 15,000 people came to watch this professionally staged free safe display, set in the most stunning location. A strong Police presence will keep things in order on the Promenade and in Happy Valley.

The fireworks can be seen from any vantage point along the Prom; exploding into the bay over the sea between the Great and Little Ormes.

The Mayor will perform the official countdown at 7.30pm at the Cenotaph.

Llandudno Town Council wish to thank the Harbour Master, Simon Mason at Llandudno Pier, The Rotary Club of Llandudno, The North Wales Fire Brigade, North Wales Police, British Red Cross, St John Ambulance, Conwy County Borough Council, Hugh & Stuart Hodgson, and especially Mr Kevin Heyes and his team for staging last years display.
