MAGICAL CHRISTMAS

PARADE 2007

 

SATURDAY DECEMBER 1st 2007

 

This year's spectacular Parade featured

Batala Bermo Samba Band, Trigger the Train,

Ann Caines Illuminated Land Train

and The Knights of the Empire

 

The Parade, including the Mayor and Mayoress,

Cllrs Alun and Sylvia Barrett, Father Christmas

and several illuminated vehicles, left Llandudno

Railway Station at 4.00pm, proceeding along

Vaughan St, Mostyn St and Lloyd St to the

Town Hall before returning to the Station.

 

Llandudno Town Band played carols outside the

Town Hall prior to the Parade.   On arrival at the Town Hall,

the Mayor, Cllr Alun Barrett, switched on the Christmas Tree lights. 

 

The children taking part were then invite into the Council Chamber

to meet the Mayor and Mayoress, Father Christmas and Miss Alice.

Each child was given a small gift to mark the occasion.
