Miss Alice in Wonderland 2011
The 2011 Miss Alice competition was held on Saturday 21st May 2011. All girls aged between 8 and 10 years, who live in one of the 5 Llandudno wards: Craig y Don; Gogarth; Mostyn; Penrhyn or Tudno (which includes: Bryn Pydew, Penrhynside, Penrhyn Bay, Llangwstenin or Glanwydden) were eligible to enter. There were six entries this year. Five judges presided over the entrants and scored them according to their presentation, knowledge of the Alice in Wonderland Book and appearance on the day.
The duties of Miss Alice include public appearances at events held during the summer months, accompanying the Mayor on engagements such as hospital visits and taking part in events organised by LlandudnoTown Council such as the Llandudno Fireworks and the Christmas Parade.
Miss Alice 2011-2012: Miss Nicol Thompson

Engagements attended by Miss Alice so far this year have included the Mostyn Mile Family Fun Run, the St Tudno's Day Service and the St David's Hospice Summer Fete, Llandudno Hospital League of Friends Summer Fayre and Llandudno Carnival. She has also been to Chirk Castle, Erddig (near Wrexham) and Daresbury (in Cheshire). She visited Lewis Carroll's old college in Oxford and was a guest of the Lewis Carroll Society at Blists Hill Museum where she had tea with the King and Queen of Hearts.

On Sunday 9th October 2011, Miss Alice was present at the RAF Valley Freedom Parade, held every two years to mark the granting of the Honorary Freedom of the Town on the Royal Air Force Valley by Llandudno Town Council.
