Christmas Parade
Saturday 7th December 2024 - 4pm
The Town Council is delighted to be holding its spectacular Christmas Parade once again on Saturday 7th December 2024. The Parade will depart Llandudno Railway Station at 4.00pm and make its way through the Streets of Llandudno, along Vaughan Street, Mostyn Street, past the Town Hall in Lloyd Street, down Madoc Street before returning to the Station.
The Parade will be led by Clwyd & Gwynedd ACF Corps of Drums & Knights of Snowdon, followed by Father Christmas on his sleigh. Attractions in the Parade include the Theatr Colwyn Pinocchio themed pantomime float, nativity float, Cambria Band, Christmas themed stiltwalkers, juggling elves, many characters, as well as young people’s groups from Llandudno.
Entertainment will take place outside the Town Hall from 2.15pm, featuring Llandudno Town Band, Llandudno Youth Music Theatre, Linzi Grace School of Dance, carol singing from Ysgol Glanwydden and a Christmas message from Reverend Morris.
Once the Parade has left Lloyd Street there will be a twenty-five minute show followed by a performance by the Batala Samba Band.
The Christmas Parade Chairman, Cllr Antony Bertola, commented “As the Christmas Parade approaches, we are all really excited about seeing the performers and talented acts. You will be able to witness Christmas characters, singing, dancing and an array of music as the Parade progresses through the Town of Llandudno. We look forward to seeing you on the day. I must also like to thank everyone within the council and the volunteers who work so hard on this event. Thank you all for supporting the Town”.
