The Mayor of Llandudno, Cllr Mandy Hawkins, welcomed community leaders, elected members, volunteers and local military, civilian and community organisations to her Civic Sunday celebration on Sunday 26th July 2026, recognising the people and organisations who make such a valuable contribution to the town.

The day began with a parade, led by Llandudno Town Band, to the War Memorial, where a wreath-laying ceremony took place before the procession continued to Holy Trinity Church for the Civic Service, led by the Reverend Vince Morris.

Following the service, guests gathered for a civic reception, where the Mayor thanked Llandudno's voluntary and community organisations for their dedication, commitment and the positive impact they have on the local community. Guests also enjoyed an address from the event's guest speaker, Mrs Judith Phillips.

Civic Sunday is an important occasion in the town's civic calendar, providing an opportunity to reflect on the values of service, remembrance and community, while celebrating the individuals and organisations whose hard work helps Llandudno thrive.

The Mayor expressed her appreciation to everyone who attended and to all those who helped make the day such a memorable and successful occasion.
