Miss Alice 2021-22

On Saturday 19th June 2021, Llandudno held its annual Miss Alice competition and Emmie Holmes was chosen as the new Miss Alice.  All girls aged between 8 and 10 years old and living in the 5 wards of Llandudno were eligible to enter.  The outgoing Miss Alice, Miss Milly Woodyatt congratulated Emmie on her appointment and she was presented with a sash showing her title and a “Miss Alice” outfit.  Thanks, were also expressed to Milly who had remained in the role for an extra year due to Covid-19 leading to the cancellation of the 2020 Miss Alice competition.

Emmie is 10 years old and loves dancing, particularly tap and would like to be on stage in the West End.

Her duties will include attendance at Town Council Civic and other events.  She will accompany the Mayor to Civic engagements and on occasion undertaking visits out of the area to promote Llandudno and the “Miss Alice” connection.
