Celebrating Llandudno’s Outstanding Hospitality Sector

On 17th September 2026, Llandudno Town Council was delighted to welcome representatives from five of the town’s independent accommodation businesses to celebrate an outstanding achievement in the Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Best of the Best 2026 awards.

All five businesses have been recognised among the top 1% of accommodation businesses worldwide — an exceptional achievement and a wonderful reflection of the quality of hospitality offered in Llandudno. 🌍🏆

The five businesses recognised are:

🏆 Burleigh House – 3rd B&B in the UK, 13th in the world
🏆 Min Y Don – 6th B&B in the UK
🏆 The Rosedene – 8th B&B in the UK
🏆 The Cliffbury – 10th B&B in the UK
🏆 Between The Bays – 15th B&B in the UK

During the visit, the Mayor had the honour of presenting each business with a Mayoral Certificate in recognition of their exceptional service, consistently high standards and outstanding traveller reviews.

These achievements are a tremendous accolade for each individual business and also bring great distinction to Llandudno, highlighting the strength and quality of our town’s hospitality sector.

The Council would like to recognise the dedication and hard work of the people behind these businesses, whose commitment to providing excellent experiences for visitors has helped achieve this remarkable success. We also acknowledge the many guests whose reviews have helped showcase Llandudno’s hospitality to visitors from around the world.
