Llandudno in Bloom was proud to be presented with a Gold award once again in the Royal Horticultural Society’s Wales in Bloom competition, at the awards ceremony held in Wrexham on Friday 3rd October 2025.
It has been another successful year for Llandudno in Bloom.In addition to winning Gold in the Coastal over 12,000 category there were also a high number of groups from Llandudno who entered the It’s Your Neighbourhood awards (listed below). Ysgol Craig y Don were awarded Level 4 – Blossoming in the School’s category, Gerry and Carol Sweeny received a Community Champion certificate and Friends of Mostyn Street Kidz were awarded the Jim Goodwin Young Person Award.
Cllr Louise Emery, Chairman, Llandudno in Bloom, commented “Winning Gold at the Wales in Bloom competition shows how much the people of Llandudno care about their local parks, beach, churches, and community spaces. The Friends groups work hard to make these places cleaner and greener, together with the Town Council and the Conwy County Borough Council Open Spaces and Parks team. I’m proud to be the Chairman of Llandudno in Bloom, especially in another gold-winning year. We’re now hoping to do just as well in the Britain in Bloom competition with the results announced on 31st October."
