Presentation of Mayoral Certificate

Monday, 27th April 2026, Llandudno Town Council were delighted to welcome Mr Simon Roxburgh, Chairman of GOG Triathlon Club, along with several club members, to the Council Chamber.

During the visit, the Mayor had the honour of presenting Mr Roxburgh with a Mayoral Certificate in recognition of his exceptional service since the club’s founding in 2014.

Under his leadership, GOG Triathlon Club has flourished into one of the area’s most vibrant and inclusive sporting communities—raising the profile of triathlon locally and ensuring the sport is accessible to people of all abilities.

A wonderful achievement and a well-deserved recognition—congratulations to Simon and everyone involved in the club.
