The Mayor, Cllr Mandy Hawkins, commented ….
“I want to take a moment to thank everyone who entered Llandudno in Bloom this year. The time, care and dedication that goes into creating and maintaining these beautiful spaces is truly appreciated.
It is our residents, businesses, schools, community groups, and volunteers who take part and help keep pride in Llandudno alive.
The standard of entries was incredible, and I am very glad I wasn't faced with the difficult job of judging them!
It was a pleasure to welcome everyone to the awards evening and to help present the awards, congratulating both the winners and all those who took part.
One thing that really stood out to me was hearing how much enjoyment people get from gardening. Whether it's a hanging basket, a few pots on a patio, a community space or a full garden, it brings a real sense of pride and can do wonders for your wellbeing.
So, would you like to get involved?
No matter how big or small your space, we'd love to welcome you to enter next year's competition. I know I can't wait to see what you'll create”
A huge thank you also goes to our generous Awards Sponsors, whose support provides the wonderful trophies, and to our fantastic team of volunteer competition judges who give up their time to visit and assess all the entries.
Congratulations once again to all of our 2026 entrants and winners — your hard work, creativity and passion for our town really do make a difference.
Entry forms for the 2027 Llandudno in Bloom competition will be available in the Spring, and we hope to see even more private gardens and organisations getting involved.
